视角在很大程度上决定观察到的内容。哲学和功夫视角下的中国传统思想就像那著名的"鸭-兔"图,既可被看作功夫体系也可被看作哲学体系。在近代西方强势文化的影响下,中国传统思想曾经被迫从西方哲学的视角去寻求其所谓的合法性,其自身的功夫层面因此受到了遮蔽。自觉地启用功夫视角是重新发现中国传统思想里被边缘化或忽视的资源的途径。功夫视角与哲学视角交互审视的双向过程,不只是研究中国传统哲学的有效方法,同时也可以成为中国哲学特有的哲学方法论,使哲学突破近代西方的局限而获得新的穿透力,激发功夫哲学理论和对功夫本身的哲学研究,同时也使人类功夫实践获得进一步的自觉和提升。

One＇s perspective or approach largely determines what one can observe. Like the famous ＇duck-rabbit＇ picture, traditional Chinese thoughts can be seen either as gongfu systems or philosophical systems, depending on the perspective one takes. Under the strong influence of the modern West, traditional Chinese thoughts were once forced to seek asylum within the framework of Western philosophy, which consequently eclipsed their gongfu dimension. Only by engaging the gongfu perspective can we reclaim the marginalized resources in traditional Chinese thoughts. Cross examination from philo- sophical and gongfu perspective is not only an effective method of studying traditional Chinese philosophy, but also a unique methodology we can draw from traditional Chinese philosophy, the application of which will allow us to break through vari- ous limitations of modern Western philosophy, gain penetrating new insights, inspire philosophical studies of gongfu as well as gongfu theories in philosophy, and will thereby enable human gongfu practice to reach higher levels of perfection.
