略谈中国大陆辞赋研究和创作——新加坡国立大学成立“国际辞赋研究会”开幕式上的发言

The Study and Creation of Cifu on the Chinese Mainland

赋,是我们中国古代文学中的四大文体(即诗词、赋、戏剧、小说)之一,具有很高的文学价值和历史地位。但由于种种原因,从"五四"运动到20世纪80年代初,中国大陆很少有研究汉赋、肯定汉赋或历代辞赋的论文。20世纪八九十年代,大陆、港、台的辞赋研究状况稍有好转。在改革开放以来的短短一二十年中,有数以千计的人写赋,这是以往任何时代所无法比拟的,充分反映了"辞赋出盛世"的事实。不容否认,今天的赋作家还存在部分人学养不足和对赋创作的艰巨性复杂性认识不足的缺陷。我们应努力创作出一种新赋体,使之能更好地表现我们的时代。

Fu, as one of the four ancient Chinese literary forms, has high literary value and historical status. However, few papers were written from the May 4 Movement to the early 1980 s to study and affi rm fu of the Han Dynasty or any other dynasty. There was a turn for the better during the 1980 s and 1990 s in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. During the one or two decades since implementing the reform and opening policy, thousands of composers of fu appeared. It cannot be denied, however, that contemporary composers have a large room for improvement. We should try to create a new style of fu to better serve our times and readers.
