As a social education center, the public library constructs virtual learning community by using web2.0 technolo-gy, which can help expand the public library social service, enhance the visibility of the public library. This paper explains the concept and feature of the virtual learning community of the public library, analyses the ad-vantage and the role of Web2.0 technology in virtual learning community construction, constructs the system structure of the virtual learning community of the public library based on Web2.0.
