浅析英语教学中跨文化意识的培养

Analysis of Cultivation of Intercultural Awareness in English Teaching

英语教学不仅是传授语言知识,更重要的是进行其文化教学,培养学生的跨文化意识和交际能力,全面提高英语教学的效率和质量,使英语教学适应新时代的发展与需要。但长期以来,我国英语教学中,文化教学这一环节一直未得到足够重视。笔者认为,在日常教学中可以通过一些有效途径进行学生跨文化意识的培养,有效地提高学生对中外文化差异的敏感性和鉴别能力。

English teaching is aimed at not just instruction of linguistic knowledge. The more important is cultural information, intercultural awareness, communicative competence building, overall improvement of teaching efficiency and quality, and adaption to the new era growth and need. For a long time, cultural instruction has not been given due priority for English teaching in China. The author believes that, through some effective channel, in routine daily teaching of the foreign lan- guage, the students should be educated with sensibility and ability of identification. intercultural awareness, thus upgrading the students＇ sensibility and ability of identification.
