边境贸易作为国际贸易的一种特殊形式,是对外贸易的有机组成部分,对边境民族地区的经济发展起着不可或缺的作用。临沧市作为云南西部的一个沿边城市,有着广阔的边境线,在边贸发展上有着得天独厚的条件,发展边贸对临沧的经济社会的发展具有重大的意义,但也面临着诸多的困难和挑战。

As a special, integral form of international trade, border trade plays an indispensable role in economic development of border ethnic regions of the country. Lincang is a border city of southwest Yunnan, China, with a broad borderline with advantaged conditions for development of border trade, which will be significant for local socioeconomic development while facing quite a few difficulty and challenge.
