The Design of Library Electronic Resource Statistics System Based on Embedded Browser Approach

针对目前图书馆电子资源,尤其是国内资源的统计数据无法横向比较的问题,采用浏览器控件访问电子资源的所有页面,通过该控件记录用户的使用情况,结合COUNTER最新标准设计数据库,不但使所有电子资源的使用数据可以横向比较,而且可以提供符合COUNTER标准的使用报告。

Comparing statistics data of different electronic resources is hard, especially when they are collected under different princi- ples and standards. This study aims to find an easy way accessing to electronic resources and users activity through web browser to collect usage data under the COUNTER standard. Adopting the web browser approach not only enables comparison between various electronic resources with the same standard, but also provides standard usage reports more specifically.
