What makes tissue paper properties so special? ——Demands on fiber

纸浆的性能主要取决于原材料、制浆过程、脱木素程度以及采用的漂白工序。对于应用于生产纸及纸板的纸浆，强度性能非常重要（见表1）。在造纸过程中，增加纸张强度的方式有好几种，如打浆、湿压榨、干燥和改进浆料配比，比如提高长纤维比例，减少惰性填料用量或者使用增强剂。

To continue to develop tissue in the future it will be very imprtant to increase the tensile strenght at a given degree of beating. This can then be used to reduce the need for beating and thereby increase the bulk and porosity of the tissue sheet. Resulting in less need for fibers or improved tissue product properties. Today＇s pulp producers are effective to achieve tissue properties. To further add new properties new available techniques such as Layer-by-Layer techniques using different polymer needs to be integrated as a final part of producing tissue pulp.
