The Strength of the Culture

文化就是以"文"去感化人,以"文"去变化物,以"文"去演化事。中国特色社会主义文化由三大基本要素构成:以马克思主义为主导的具有中国风格的社会主义先进文化,是中国特色社会主义文化的旗帜和灵魂;以爱国、厚民、崇德、守信、尚和、从善为主流的中华优秀传统文化,是中国特色社会主义文化的基因和根源;以丰富多样、色彩斑斓的人类文明成果为主体的有益的外来文化,是中国特色社会主义文化的养料和镜子。文化具有这样一些力量:反映力、教化力、引导力、感染力、凝聚力、鼓动力、创造力、亲和力、调节力、自信力、净化力、传播力、生产力、战斗力、推动力。强化文化的力量就要:坚持正确方向,确保文化先进;深化改革创新,增强文化活力;加强文化建设,提高文化软实力;善于学习借鉴,扩大文化交流。

The culture is to influence people with the ＂writing＂, to change the matters with the ＂writing＂ and to evolve the things with the ＂writing＂. The socialist culture with Chinese characteristics consists of three basic elements： the socialist advanced culture guided by Marxism and with Chinese style is the banner and soul of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics; the excellent Chinese traditional culture which takes the patriotism, people-loving, morality-respecting, trustworthy, peace-loving and following the goodness as its mainstream is the gene and root of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics; the useful foreign culture which takes the rich and varied and colorful human civilized achievements as its main body is the nourishment and mirror of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. The culture has some powers such as： reflecting power, educating force, guiding power, infectivity, cohesion, encouragement, creativity, affinity, regulating force, self-confidence, purification ability, spreading ability, productivity, fighting force and driving force. Enforcing the cultural strength is to insist on the right direction and ensure the culture being advanced; to deepen the reform and innovation, strengthen the cultural vitality; to enforce the cultural construction and heighten the cultural soft power; to be good at learning and expand cultural communication.
