The tetramethyl xylylene diisocyanate （TMXDI） is a special aliphatic isocyanate with wide uses. Its main synthesis methods include isocyanic acid method, cyanate method and carbamate thermolysis method. Among them, the cyanate method is more suitable synthesis method for TMXDI.
