The Craft Features of Anji Bamboo Weaving as Daily Utensils

安吉竹编生活用具是国内富有代表性的竹编器具,不仅反映了器物的实用功能,更重要的是从这些用具体现的工艺特征中可见当地人们凝结成的一种"人—物—自然"和谐的质朴智慧和精神品质。结合实地调研分析安吉竹编生活用具的材料特性、生产技术及艺术装饰,指出其设计的科学性、自然性、艺术性。

Anji bamboo weaving as daily utensils is the most representative in China. It doesn＇t only demonstrate the practical functions of the artifacts, but, more importantly, embodies the harmonious relation among man, artifacts and nature as a manifestation of local people＇s spiritual quality of being plain and unadorned. Based on a field survey, this paper analyzed the characteristics of materials, the processing technology and artistic decorations of Anji bamboo weaving as daily utensils and summarized scientific, natural and artistic quality in its design.
