以思辨能力培养为导向的《英语国家概况》课程教学改革 被引量:5

摘要 《英语国家概况》一课的教学传统采取以教师为中心的教学模式,注重知识的输入和语言技能的培养,但对学生思辨能力和创新能力的培养关注不足。本文从该课的教学现状和问题出发,遵循"加强学生思维能力和创新能力的培养"的教学原则,借鉴国内外思辨能力研究的成果,探讨在《英语国家概况》的教学中以思辨能力的培养为导向,从教学模式、教学方法与手段、现代教育技术应用、测试与评估等方面的改革现有传统教学模式,并提出可行的培养方法,以期实现培养出面向21世纪的复合型英语人才的教育目标。 The course of teaching of An Introduction to English-Speaking Countries in China has traditionally followed a teacher-centered teaching model,focusing on knowledge input and language training,but little attention has been paid to college students' development of critical thinking(CT) and creative abilities.This paper,adhering to the teaching principle of enhancing college students' development of critical thinking and creative abilities and based on literature review of the studies on critical thinking skills at home and abroad,makes a study of teaching problems of An Introduction to English- Speaking Countries and then explores the teaching reform for developing students' critical thinking skills.The reform can be involved in teaching model,teaching methods and approaches,modern educational technology application,and assessment,aiming to cultivate English talents for the 21 st century.
