Adaptations of Overseas Chinese Literature Into Films and TV

新世纪以来,海外华文文学影视改编备受瞩目,严歌苓、张翎、石小克、六六、桐华等海外作家的小说大多被改编为影视作品。从文学文本到影视文本改编的操作中,一方面是考察其中互相借鉴的因素,另一方面是寻找在跨媒介文本的转换过程中的主题承传与变异。从两者的积极互动来看,海外华文文学正积极应对大众媒介,并借用影视平台的影响力,显示出日渐回归中国本土的潮流。

Since the new century,the films and TV plays adapted from overseas Chinese literature have attract great attention,including the novels written by YAN Geling,SHI Xiaoke,ZHANG Ling,SHI Xiaoke,Liuliu,TONG Hua and other overseas writers. In the operation of adapting literary texts into film texts,on the one hand,the factors that they use for reference to each other are examined,on the other hand,the continuance or alteration of theme in the process of textual adaptation is concerned. In terms of their positive interaction,the overseas Chinese literature responds actively to the mass media. With the influence of films and TV plays,there is a tendency of coming back to China.
