摘要 社交媒体在大学新生顺利过渡到大学生活中起着关键的作用。大学生通过社交媒体与同龄人联系和沟通,从而使他们顺利过渡到大学生活。建立了一个社交媒体对大学生社会适应性及持久性影响的模型,既包括社会支持和社会适应的传统测量指标,也探索了这些因素对大学生持久性的影响。通过收集一年级大学生的数据,研究了使用社交网站对大学生社会适应的影响。研究结果表明:社交网站中大学朋友的数量与社会适应性正相关;社会资本、社会适应性与持久性正相关。 Social media plays a critical role in student adjustment at college. College student is the majority of people who use social media, which have the potential to positively enhance students'transition to college by encouraging connection and interaction among peers. We developed a model that explore the impacts of social media on college students" social adjustment and persistence, the model includes both traditional predictors of social support and social adjustment, as well as explore their impacts on persistence. The present study examines the role of social media plays in student~ social adjustment during their first year of college using survey data. Results indicate positive relationships between the number of friends students have at the college and social adjustment, as well as a positive relationship between social capital, social adjustment and persistence at the university.
