Abstract： The freezing mechanism of water supply and drainage pipes was analyzed. To introduce the characteristics of freezing protection design for water supply and drainage pipes of chemical enterprises in cold region, the calculation principle of freezing protection and selection of insulating and tracing materials wero offered. According to rolevant standards and engineering experience, the design methods, freezing protection measures, layout essentials and installation methods for anti-freezing of water supply and drainage pipes wen discussed.
