论接受美学对英语阅读教学的启示

摘要 英语阅读是国内学生提高英语能力的重要途径。接受美学理论认为阅读体现的是读者、作者和文本三者之间的关系,强调读者为中心,并提出"未定点""空白点"理论和"期待视野"的概念,对现行英语阅读教学带来许多启示:教师应以学生为中心,鼓励学生独立自主阅读,补充学习背景资料,选择合适的材料,引导学生进入阅读角色,培养学生丰富的情感和想象力,使学生享受阅读带来的美学体验和思想碰撞。 English reading is an important means to improve English language ability for students in China. Reception Aesthetics theory propose that reading reflects the relationship among readers, the author and the text, which emphasizes the reader as the center, and put forward the concept of "blank" and "horizon of expectation" and bring about plenty of enlightenment to English reading teaching: Teachers should take students as the center, encourage them to read independently , conduct supplementary study of the background, choose the suitable reading material and channel them into roles in the books they are reading, as well as cultivate their rich emotion and imagination, so that students can enjoy the aesthetics of reading and powerful communication of thoughts.
