Discussion of the differences Between Chinese and Western Poetries in Term of Artistic Expression

中西文化的差异导致中西美学追求的不同,形成了各自的美学特征。这种不同的美学特征在中西诗歌艺术风格的表现上显得尤为突出。以严维的《答刘长卿蛇浦桥月下重送》与德国女诗人许尔霍夫的《月出》为例,分别从情景之关系、意象描绘、静态与动态描写等几方面来探讨中西诗歌艺术表现的差异,意在对中西诗歌艺术表现方面有更为清晰的认识。

Differences between Chinese and Western cultures result in different aesthetic pursuits and distinct aesthetic teatures. Such different aesthetic features are particularly prominent in the artistic styles of poetry expression for both the Eastern and the Western countries. This article takes examples from Reply to a Farewell at Shepu Bridge under the Moonlight Made by Liu Chan- gqing written by Yah Wei and Moonrise by Annette von Droste - Hiilshoff to explore the differences of artistic expressions between China and the West. The paper discussed the differences from the aspects of relationships between scenes, representation of imagery, static and dynamic descriptions.
