《罪犯矫正模式论》紧紧抓住"监狱行刑模式"这一极为重要的监狱制度现象,对教育刑矫正模式、行刑公正模式、政治改造模式、监管矫正模式、劳动改造模式、人文主义矫正模式、个案矫正模式、社区矫正模式等不同类型的模式,从社会背景、理论基础、基本理念、主要操作范式、基本评价等方面,逐一进行专题论述,内容具有史实性和说理性相兼顾的阐述特色。但是,也存在着"矫正"一词过度泛化使用,缺乏以其各自相对确定的历史语境为根据,一般不宜以"矫正"覆盖其名实关系而作打通使用,以及著作属性把握不当等问题。
