Research and Application of Relay Technique in LTE-Advanced System

摘要 中继技术作为LTE-Advanced的关键技术之一,可以扩大小区的覆盖范围,改善小区边缘用户的性能。首先介绍了Relay的引入背景和网络结构,然后对Relay的分类和双工方式进行了分析,最后选取了城市深度覆盖补盲、高速公路连续覆盖和农村覆盖延伸3个场景进行了试验。从试验结果可以看出,部署Relay可以有效提升网络覆盖能力。 As one of key techniques in LTE-A, Relay technique is able to extend cell coverage, increase system throughput and improve cell-edge user performance. First, the background of Relay technique and its network structure were introduced. Then, its classification and duplex mode were analyzed. Finally, three scenes including dense urban areas, highway and rural coverage extension were selected to be tested. Tested results show that Relay deployment can effectively enhance network capacity.
