论荀子的人—心秩序观

On Xunzi's View of Man-Heart Order

在荀子看来,人-心秩序应该以"礼"和"义"为准则,"欲"和"蔽"容易导致人-心秩序的混乱。因此,必须用节欲、解蔽、为学等方法对人性进行改造,做到性伪合才能实现良性的人-心秩序。荀子的人-心秩序观启示我们,要妥善处理人的欲望,注重理性的作用,提倡为己之学,同时要注意其专制主义倾向的负面影响。

Xunzi believed that Man-Heart Order should be based on propriety and justice,but desire and inability can make it fall into chaos,so we must transform human nature by abstinence,correct the wrong understanding of things and study.We must coordinate the innate and postnatal characters of human being in order to achieve a virtuous Man-Heart Order.Xunzi′s View of Man-Heart Order enlightens us that we should properly handle human desire,pay attention to reason,advocate learning for oneself and at the same time pay attention to the negative impact of its authoritarian tendencies.
