质性研究的推论策略:概括与推广

Generalization Strategies of Qualitative Research

质性研究一直面临着能否生产出具有解释力和启示性的理论的质疑,面对这种质疑,质性研究领域已经发展出较为有效的推论策略。本文选取六种策略对其基本逻辑进行解读,并利用一个具有统一议题的思想实验予以呈现和应用。在此基础上笔者分析了它们的内部合理性和相对不足,并依据质性研究的特点,指出深描说和关系个案法更有助于提升质性研究的解释力。

Qualitative research has been constantly challenged of whether it can produce theories with sufficient explanatory power.By responding to this,,there are effective generalization strategies developed within qualitative research.Applying a idea experiment with a unified issuethis paper compares six strategies,and analyzes their logics,appropriateness,and disadvantages,Based on the analyses and the characteristics of qualitative research,this paper concludes that 'thick description' and 'relational case method' are the most effective measures to improve the explanatory power of qualitative research.
