摘要
本文通过建立基于内生增长理论的模型,说明技术研发外包活动可以增加新的中间投入产品,进而促进了企业产品创新。然后利用多层混合效应logistic模型检验企业外包行为对企业引入新产品的影响,结果表明:企业研发外包会显著提高该企业引入新产品的概率,企业研发外包可使得该企业引入新产品的概率提高5.6倍;来自市场竞争的压力也会激励企业积极提高自己的竞争能力,使得企业引入新产品的概率提高了40%-50%;但随着市场竞争程度的加剧,降低了企业研发外包能够提高该企业引入新产品的促进效应。
The paper constructs a model based on the endogenous growth the- ory to clarify the mechanism through which enterprises' R&D outsourcing activi- ties expand the varieties of new intermediate inputs, and thus promote the enter- prises' new products creation. By employing the multilevel mixed- effects logis- tic regression method, the paper conducts an empirical analysis to test the effect of enterprises' R&D outsourcing on its new products development. The results suggest that enterprises' R&D outsourcing has a significant positive effect on its new products development, which increases the probability of new products intro- duction by 5.6 times. The pressure from market competition will also encourage enterprises to improve their competitive ability actively, which improves the proba- bility of new products development by 40 to 50 percent. However, the promoting effect of enterprises' R&D outsourcing on its new product introduction will wane when the market competition continues to intensify.
