The Cultural and Ethical Basis of Economic Growth Mode Transformation

目前多数文献认为,制度不完善,更具体地说,市场经济体制不完善,是我国经济增长方式转变不成功的原因。但是这些文献并没有进一步解释,为何有些国家及地区可以建立完善的市场经济体制,而有些国家及地区却不能建立完善的市场经济体制。本文通过经济学逻辑分析和国别比较研究表明,发达国家文化的价值规范和道德伦理是完善市场经济体制的必要基础,缺乏发达国家文化的价值规范和道德伦理,是无法建立完善的市场经济体制的,进而也无法转变经济增长方式。

It is generally accepted that, the imperfect institutions, or the imperfect market economy system, cause the unsuccessful transformation of economic growth mode in our country. But the present literature hasn＇ t further explained why some countries and areas can build a perfect market economy system and why others can＇ t. Depending on economic logical analysis and comparative studies, we argue that the criteria of value and the morality and ethics in developed countries are the necessary basis of perfect market economy system. Lacking the criteria of value and the morality and ethics in developed coun- tries, developing countries can＇ t build a perfect market economy system and then can＇ t transform economic growth mode.
