摘要
本文通过对I S F C40中国学者的英文摘要中介入资源进行分析,揭示摘要作者在构建读者联盟的过程所做的语言选择。分析显示,在利用介入资源实现人际互动的过程中,摘要作者更偏重于扩展资源;从而既承认学术研究的多样性,又强调其学术研究的合理性,确立其在学术社团中的身份和地位。
Within the framework of appraisal theory, this paper addresses the engagement resources utilized by Chinese Scholars at ISFC40 for the purpose of achieving reader alignment. Analyses indicate that Chinese scholaes prefer expansion to contraction in the construction of reader alignment. Hence, their willingness in embracing the multi-possibilities of academic researches contributes to the legitimacy of their researches and their occupation of a niche among their academic community.
