白虎汤四大症当属白虎加人参汤主症小议

Brief Discussion of the Four Main Symptoms of Baihu Decoction Belonging to Symptoms of Baihu Decoction with Ginseng

白虎汤源于张仲景《伤寒论》,后人在吴鞠通《温病条辨》引用的基础上提出了白虎汤四大症。笔者通过对《伤寒论》中白虎汤原文的例举及分析,提出对白虎汤四大症的异议,并依据白虎加人参汤的原文记载、方药组成、中医病机及临床报道,大胆提出白虎汤四大症,即"身大热、汗大出、口大渴、脉洪大",应该归属于白虎加人参汤主症的观点。

Baihu Decoction originates from Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases by ZHANG Zhongjing,and based on the citations of WU Jutong in Differentiation and Treatment of Epidemic Febrile Diseases,people proposed the four main symptoms of Baihu Decoction.The author puts forward an objection about the four main symptoms of Baihu Decoction according to the analysis on provisions of Baihu Decoction in Treatise on Febrile Diseases,while brings up an idea that the four main symptoms of Baihu Decoction should belong to Baihu Decoction with Ginseng,based on its provisions in Treatise on Febrile Diseases,composition of decoction,Chinese medical pathogenesis and modern clinical reports.
