Develop Bamboo Industry to Promote China-Africa South-South Cooperation

竹子生产周期短,容易加工,用途广泛,是最重要的非木材可再生资源。文章概述了全球竹产业发展情况,介绍了中国竹产业、非洲竹产业发展现状。分析了非洲各国发展竹产业面临困难。指出中国竹业的发展为广大发展中国家发展竹业提供了有益的借鉴。认为帮助非洲国家发展竹业,有利于加强中非南南合作,促进扶贫、当地经济发展和环境保护以及实施中国的技术、设备和投资走出去。

Bamboo production cycle is short, easy to process, widespread to use, and is the most important non wood renewable resources. This paper summarizes the development of bamboo industry in the world, and introduces the present situation of the development of bamboo industry in China and Africa. The paper analysizes the difficulties among the bamboo industry development in African countries. The development of China＇ s bamboo indus- try provides a useful reference for the development of bamboo industry in the developing countries. It is believed to help African countries develop bamboo industry, strengthen China-Africa South-South cooperation, promote poverty alleviation, local economic development and environmental protection and implement the technology, equipment and investment of China.
