青岛西海岸新区获批一周年:承接国家战略 聚焦改革创新 建设海洋特色鲜明的“美丽新区”

6月3日，注定是一个被永远铭记的日子。2014年的这一天，国务院正式批复设立青岛西海岸新区，国家“新区队列”中再添新成员。作为第9个国家级新区，新区以海洋经济发展为主题，为探索全国海洋经济科学发展新路径发挥示范作用，为促进东部沿海地区经济率先转型发展、建设海洋强国发挥积极作用。

On June 3, 2014, the State Council of China made a written reply to Shandong Provincial Government, which approvedthe establishment of Qingdao Western Coast New Zone. This was another important strategic measure adopted to promote the construction of the Shandong Peninsular Blue Economy Zone after the State Council of China approved the establishment of the Shandong Peninsular Blue Economy Zone. The establishment of the national leveI Qjngdao Western Coast New Zone is highly significant for fully implementing the national maritime development strategy, deepening the reform of the comprehensive ocean management system, and speeding up the deep ocean development and coordinated development of the land and ocean.
