摘要
下尿路症状（10wer urinary tract symptoms，LUTS）在男性中很常见，随着年龄的增加，其发病率及症状的严重程度也会随之增加。据统计，在年龄超过50岁的男性中，有1／3会出现中度至重度的LUTS，其比例所占数量仅在英国就有340万的男性LUTS患者，在欧盟国家有2400万的男性LUTS患者1。
