CT findings of osteoblastoma

目的探讨成骨细胞瘤CT影像学表现。方法回顾性分析经病理证实的12例成骨细胞瘤患者的CT资料,并与病理结果对照。结果 12例患者中,发生于脊椎7例、股骨2例、胫骨1例、下颌骨1例、甲状软骨1例。12例均见肿瘤矿化,病灶周围骨质均见反应性硬化,11例呈膨胀性骨质破坏,6例局部见骨皮质中断,11例见骨膜反应,2例肿瘤呈浸润生长,2例CT增强扫描显示肿瘤实体部明显强化。结论多数成骨细胞瘤CT表现典型,提示诊断,但少数CT表现不典型,确诊依靠病理。

Objective To investigate the CT findings of osteoblastoma .Methods CT findings of 12 cases of osteoblasto‐ma confirmed by pathology were retrospectively reviewed and compared with pathological results .Results In 12 patients , 7 cases occurred in spine ,2 cases occurred in femur ,1 case occurred in tibia ,1 case occurred in mandibular ,and 1 case oc‐curred in thyroid .The tumor mineralization and the reactive sclerosis of the surrounding bone were shown in the 12 cases on CT images .Eleven cases showed expansive bone destruction ,6 cases showed bone interruption ,11 cases showed peri‐osteal reaction ,and 2 cases showed infiltrating growth of the tumor .Two cases showed obvious enhancement of the solid part of the tumor on contrast‐enhanced CT scans .Conclusion Most osteoblastomas ,which show CT imaging with typical features ,are easy to diagnose ,but the diagnosis of a few cases with atypical imaging appearance depends on pathology .
