The sustainable development of geothermal energy development industry requires the guidance and regulation of standard system. This paper researches and analyzes the overseas and domestic technical standards of geothermal energy development, illustrates the progress and status of technical standards on geothermal energy development, and makes a plan for complete technical standard system of geothermal energy development as well as puts forward relevant proposals.
