The article describes the theory of sequencing batch reactor and analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of SBR process for the treatment of wastewater. In addition,the article introduces SBR ＇s widely application in wastewater treatment. Aiming at the defects existing in SBR, the article introduces several SBR improved technologies and analyzes the influencing factors of SBR process. In the end, the article prospects the future application of SBR.
