摘要
提出了一种基于CPW反相器结构的宽带紧凑型微带环形定向耦合器.该环形耦合器将传统耦合器的3/4λ枝节由两个1/8λ微带线与一个CPW反相器代替,使用了缺陷地结构,并对1/4λ枝节进行了折叠.本设计的面积只有传统结构的10%.测试结果表明,在1~2GHz工作带宽内,插入损耗小于3.5dB,增益失配小于0.2dB,相位失衡小于5°,隔离度超过25dB.
A Broadband Compact Microstrip Ring Coupler Utilizing a Novel CPW Inverter is introduced in this paper. The 3/4h branch of traditional rat-race is composed by twol/8h microstrip line and a CPW inverter. Defected ground structure(DGS) is used and 1/4Xbranches is folded. The footprint of the proposed ring coupler is only 10% of the conventional ring coupler. The coupler's insertion loss is less than 3. 5 dB across the frequency band froml to 2 GHz. The proposed design is less than 0. 2 dB amplitude mismatch, less than 5° phase mismatch, and more than 25 dB isolation over the operation bandwidth.
