The newest DoD Information Enterprise Architecture （DIEA） v2.0 is the base to realize DoD Information En- terprise＇s top design vision and even the key to realize the Joint Information Environment （JIE）. This paper introduces DIEA＇s overview, describes its structure and content in detail, and analyzes new features in the DoD IEA v2.0 to provide much meaning for improving PLA＇s combat capabilities based on information systems architecture.
