云水精神的物化——刘知白泼墨山水画的文化意义

Materialization of the Landscape Spirit:the Cultural Significance of LIU Zhi-bai's Ink Landscape Paintings

本文从山水画史的角度来观照近现代山水画大师刘知白的泼墨大写意山水画法,从刘知白立定传统、打破成法的艺术历程中映照出老一辈画人在中西文化碰撞交汇的历史关头所抱有的文化取向,并由其泼墨大写意山水画法的创立过程,见出中国绘画乃至中国文化生生不息的蓬勃生命力。

As one modern landscape painting master,LIU Zhi- bai reflected the elder generation＇ s cultural orientation when confronting Chinese and western cultural conflicts who broke free from some old- fashioned conventions and developed freehand ink landscape paintings with a traditional standing. This paper analyzed his freehand ink landscape paintings in view of the landscape painting history to demonstrate the vigorous life of Chinese paintings and the Chinese culture in general.
