A case of frozen beef smuggling was found during animal health supervision and was transferred to the local food and drug supervision and administration departments. The way of dealing with the suspected animal product smug-gling by animal health supervision department was discussed,and suggestions of dealing with such cases were put for-ward,including turning them over to the related departments,joint investigation by the multi-sectors under the local government coordination,improvement of relevant laws and regulations and remedies for supervision defect.
