The flexible use of rhetoric in Frog leaves readers a deep impression,and rhetoric means even become a kind of pragmatic. This article connects arbitrariness principle with figures of speech in Frog,establishing effective relationship.According to the theory of signification and signal,the use of rhetorical devices is analyzed,which can further enrich the theory and elaborate the application of figures of speech.It is indicated that the use of figures of speech is based on the relative arbitrariness under absolute arbitrariness.
