The synthesis of dicyclopentadiene phenol epoxy was discussed in this paper; also the effects of reaction conditions on by-products were researched. Then the market situation of DCPD epoxy and the application in CCL were introduced. The DCPD epoxy of Jiashengde and imported ones were compared in halogen-free coverlay.
