Influencing Factors for Authors' Contribution to Journals:A Systematic Review

投稿是作者发表文献的首要工作,作者需考虑期刊的诸多因素以选择合适的期刊。本研究采用定性系统评价方法,检索国内外有关作者投稿时选择期刊影响因素的调查研究,提取相关因素及其排名,探讨作者投稿选择期刊的影响因素,并对比分析国内外相关的研究情况。结果显示,期刊声誉或权威、主题相关度、影响因子、读者、发表时间、评审质量是作者投稿期刊选择的重要因素。国外研究无论是数量、规模、深度、质量等方面均领先于国内。国内期刊应借鉴国外期刊发展经验,对读者给予更多关注,重视网络在期刊发展中的作用,并开展更为科学严谨的调查研究,满足作者投稿诉求。

Contribution is the initial step for the publication of literatures.Authors need to consider many factors in order to choose proper journals for publication.By using qualitative and systematic assessment method,we retrieved the studies about the influencing factors for authors＇ choices of journals,extracted related factors,made a rank for the factors,investigated the influencing factors for authors＇ choices of journals,and made a comparison between domestic and foreign studies.We noted that journals＇ reputation and authority,theme relevancy,impact factor,readership,publication time,and review quality are important factors for authors＇ choices of journals.Foreign studies are advanced in quality,scale,depth and quality than domestic studies.Domestic journals should draw experience from foreign journals,give more attention to readers,attach more importance on the role of website on the development of journals,and carry out more scientific and vigorous researches in order to meet the contribution needs of authors.
