Using the methodology of philology and historiography, based on the principle of human justice, this study aims to contribute an innovative interpretation of Murakami Tomoyuki's works on China study. By discussing how he denies China in realistic dimension and deconstructs Chinese theoretical logic in the cultural dimension, this article will unfold the highly adopted values and attitudes towards China among modern Japanese. This issue indicates that Japan's invasion and colonization to China in the late 19 century was not only initiated by several militarists and fascists, but was also driven by their social consensus and national action.
