A low- voltage motor at Jingtang Steel used a JV- produced soft starter combining with network to perform start and stop and feedback control, but the soft starter frequently gave out false alarm and shutdown the motor during normal operation. This phenomenon was analyzed and summarized in depth and the soft starter was modified, which has improved operation reliability and ensured production stability.
