本文阐述了一种基于EPON管理的有线电视双向网络设计方案,通过试验局的实施,采用光纤到户(FTTH)或光纤到单元的光纤网络,由EPON-ONU模块、光接收模块及管理模块组成的家庭终端,实现EPON设备和有线电视设备的统一管理。家庭终端输出端口完全兼容传统的用户家庭布线,解决光纤入户难问题。

The article states a design scheme of CATV two-way network based on EPON management.The test bureau has adopted FTTH or MDU optical fiber network and a kind of subscriber terminal which consists of EPON-ONU module,optical receiver module and management module. So operator can realize uniform management of EPON device and CATV equipment. The terminal is completely compatible with traditional home networking. It resolves en issue of fiber to home.
