专业英语教学和公共英语教学的比较研究——兼论专业英语教学的误区

A Comparative Study of the Teaching Specialty English Teaching and Common English with Concurrent Discussion of Teaching Myths

专业英语教学和公共英语教学之争,由来已久。人们一直在讨论,一个是专业英语该怎么教学、专业英语教学和公共英语教学孰轻孰重的问题。关于前者,直到今天仍没有定论,而于教学方法的探讨一直是众说纷纭,各持其理,也有的走入误区。文章通过对两种英语教学取向进行比较研究,认为英语教学的走向将是专业英语教学与公共英语教学的融合。

There has been the long -standing competing of specialty English teaching and common English teaching, with constant discussion of how to teach specialty English and which is more important：specialty English or common English.There has not yet been an answer to the first question because there are different opinions in the discussion of teaching methods.Each opinion has its own reason but some go into mistaken positions.This paper makes a comparison of the teaching tropism of the kinds of English, and puts forward some suggestions for and opinions on where the teaching should lead to.
