摘要
伴随着世界经济的全球化和中国综合国力的增强，跨文化交际能力已不可避免地成为英语语言教学中重要的研究对象。在语言知识之外，跨文化交际的能力高低和文化差异的敏感度将直接决定对外交际的成功与否。因此，本文试图从跨文化意识的基本概念谈起，分析了现阶段成人高校跨文化意识的培养现状和部分缺憾，从课堂内外的角度对成人学生的交际意识和文化敏感度的培养提出了一系列改善策略，为更好地实现有效的跨文化交际打下基础。
With the globalization of the world economy and enhancement of China＇ s comprehensive national strengthening, intercultural communicative competence （ICC） has inevitably become more and more important in overseas and domestic contexts, and therefore been taken as an ultimate research object in ELT.As a matter of fact, intercultural communicative competence and intercultural sensitivity （IS） will directly determine the various degrees of success in cultural communication.Therefore, this paper tries to start from the basic concepts of cross cultural awareness, analyzing the current situation and deficiencies in developing the cross-cultural awareness of adult college students, offering a series of solutions from both inside and outside of the class, with the aim to better realize more effective intercultural communication in the future.
