摘要
菲律宾和马来西亚关于沙巴的主权纠纷由来已久,是影响两国关系发展的重要事件。通过分析本文认为,1878年英国和苏禄缔结条约的翻译问题是引起沙巴主权纠纷的主要原因。此外,100多年的时间里领土变化带来的权利继承关系混乱,是沙巴主权纠纷另一个主要原因。特别是主权纠纷和政治、经济因素结合在一起,使得沙巴问题更加难以彻底解决。
Dispute on Sabah sovereignty between the Philippines and Malaysia has been for a long time. It is an important event affecting the development of relations between the two countries. This paper argues the translation of 1878Britain-Sulu agreement is the main cause of Sabah＇s sovereignty dispute. In addition,in over a hundred years,the confused territorial rights of inheritance is another major cause. The combined sovereignty dispute and political and economic factors make the problem more difficult to settle.
