The HSE performance and systematic man- agement characteristics of ＂three -exceeding＂ petro- leum companies including XOM, Shell and BP are analyzed in an overall manner, thus the HSE man- agement system and organizational structure of these three petroleum companies are mainly analyzed and their experience in HSE management is extracted to provide reference for systematization and continued improvement of HSE management of the domestic pe- troleum companies.
