教师队伍学缘结构多样化对高等教育教学质量提升以及科研创新能力提高均具有重要的影响。本文从信息论"熵"的理论概念出发,利用信息多样化测量工具香农威纳指数构造了高校教师学缘结构指数。并且,结合了学科互涉的高等教育发展趋势,将跨学科因素也纳入教师学缘多样化的测量。这些指标的改进对学缘结构的形成机制以及学缘结构对学术职业、高等教育组织发展等研究提供了基本的测量工具,并且为相关高等教育管理工作提供了有效的考核指标。

Faculty diversity plays an important role in the process of education quality assurance and scientific innovation improvement. Based on the theoretical concept of ＂entropy＂ in information theory and Shannon-Wiener index which is used to measure information diversity, this thesis constructs a basic index measuring faculty diversity. Moreover, with the trend of cross-disciplinary development in higher education, this thesis absorbs faculty＇s disciplinary background to measure an institute＇s faculty diversity extent. These creative improvements, though fundamental, are crucial to future research in the field of academic profession, such as the mechanism of academic origin, the influence of faculty diversity on academic profession development and organization development in higher education, etc. Also, these improvements can make the performance evaluation of higher education management more effective and efficient,
