The Knowledge and its Causes of Local Journalists about Climate Change

摘要本文初探区域环境记者的全球气候变化知识并检验知识形成的因素。针对北美五大湖区环境记者的问卷调查研究结果发现,记者的气候变化知识与其工作年限为正相关,而与其正式学历无关。本研究总结环境记者如何获取信息源的途径,与其在全球气候变化议题上的专业性,有密切相关。即使记者不具科学相关背景,也可以经由其新闻工作的经验中养成环境科学报道的专业。 This study intends to explore regional journalists＇ levels of knowledge about climate change, and examine whether their knowledge is pre-determined by formal schooling or is more likely -to be cultivated in their career.
