面子观、自我效能与寻求帮助行为的关系研究

A Research on Consciousness of Social Face, Self-efficacy and Help-Seeking Behavior

本研究探索了面子观与寻求帮助行为之间的关系,同时引入自我效能感作为调节变量,构建了寻求帮助行为的理论模型。通过对362名员工进行调研,发现面子观会影响个体的寻求帮助行为,个体越怕丢面子则越倾向于不寻求帮助;自我效能感调节着面子观和寻求帮助行为之间的关系,但具体的调节作用在面子的两个维度中呈相反的方向。在要面子维度下,自我效能感高的个体更倾向于寻求帮助;而在怕丢面子维度下,自我效能感高的个体更倾向于不寻求帮助。

In this study we explore the relationship between the consciousness of social face and help-seeking behavior, treat self-efficacy as moderators, and develop a new theoretical model of help-seeking behavior. The data of 362 employees in the People＇ s Republic of China d^nonstrate that the consciousness of social face impacts help-seeking behavior, and the more one fears of losing face the less likely lie tends to seek help. Further, self-efficacy works as a moderator in the correlation of social face and help-seeking behavior. However, the moderating effect is converse in two dimensions of social face. In the ＂want to gain face＂ dimension, individuals with high self-efficacy show more propensity of seeking help; while in the ＂fear to lose face＂ dimension, individuals with high self-efficacy show less propensity of socking help.
