中药说明书中功能用语的汉英翻译方法

On Chinese-English Translation Methods of Function Terms in Traditional Chinese Medicine Instructions

随着国际化进程的深入,中医药也越来越得到国外的认可。在中药进入国际市场的进程中,为了使我国中药能够更好地进入国际市场,并更好地被国外人士所认可和接收,中药说明书的英译起着重要的作用,而中药说明书中的功能用语又是消费者了解药品是否适用和选用药品的关键部分。本文通过对33份中药说明书功能用语的观察,分析出功能用语中文的语言特点、目前已采用的翻译方法及其中发现的翻译问题,以期探讨出用于中药说明书中功能用语翻译较为规范的翻译方法。

With the the process of internationalization, traditional Chinese medicine has been recognized by more and more foreign countries. In the process of making traditional Chinese medicine better enter the international market and better recognized and accepted by foreigners, the English translation of traditional Chinese medicine instructions plays an important role, and function terms in them are a key part to help consumers learn about whether certain medicine is suitable for them and whether they should take certain medicine. Based on an observation of function terms in 33 instructions for traditional Chinese medicine, this paper analyzes the characteristics of function terms in Chinese, the currently adopted translation methods and the existing problems in translation, hoping to find relatively standardized methods for the translation of function terms in traditional Chinese medicine instructions.
