Convergence or Divergence:A Comparative Study on the English School and Neo-liberal Institutionalism

英国学派与新自由制度主义在四个方面存在一致性:理论诉求上强调规则和制度的重要性,独立于权力和利益之外发挥效用;把无政府状态视为国际政治的基本假设;坚持国家中心论;认为制度、规范等是社会互动的结果,并非事先给定的。二者的分歧主要有七点:理论"元"的差异;在解释因合作而导致利益增进的理论进路方面的不同;价值伦理取向上的区别;对行为体主体间的共享性认知分歧;研究方法上的人文历史方法与科学实证方法;对国际法的作用持不同态度;知识谱系上所呈现的整体面貌、理论阐释方式不同。

The British school and the neo-liberal institutionism share consistency in four aspects.But they also have seven major differences,which includes：the difference of essence of theory,difference in ethics value orientation,the cognitive differences between the behavior and subject,the difference between cultural and historical method and scientific empirical methods,the different attitude towards the role of international law,the different explanation of overall appearance and the theories in knowledge pedigree.
