The Russian contemporary writer V.Tokareva has made splendid achievements in short story composition and made valuable contributions to writing techniques.Her narration emphasizes the use of free indirect speech and narrative parenthesis and thus constructs multi-subject and multi-level narrative language.In stylistics and rhetoric she combines various rhetorical devices and gives the works an integrated and unified rhetoric system by repeating keywords,key sentences,key paragraphs and specific rhetorical images.The unique narrative and rhetorical strategies play an important role in expressing the story's theme,depicting the characters,and shaping distinctive artistic style.
